Robin Reis founded State of Cotton NYC because cashmere and wool irritated her skin. She was only comfortable in 100 percent cotton sweaters and couldn't find good-quality options, and so she created her own. State of Cotton NYC was born in 2021, the intersection of luxury and simplicity in 100 percent cotton, offering classic silhouettes in the highest-quality Italian-spun cotton.
